It's looking to be a week of product sharing on my blog! I just recently received two accordion album samples in the mail, and couldn't wait to share them with you! I just love these little guys - they are absolutely perfect for purses and bags, or they can be opened up and set on a shelf. 5x7 Mini Wedding Album

Hello! I wanted to share with you all a mini 5x7 album I designed for one of my couples Andy & Sharon. Often times we think of a wedding album being large and something reserved for the coffee table, but it doesn't have to be! As stated in the title, this album is just 5x7 inches, and fits nicely in any purse or backpack so you always have your photos with you.

Or, they make a great thank you gift for parents, grandparents, and wedding party members.

New Product! Photo Bracelets

On one of my photo shoots this summer, one of the mom's showed me this awesome photo bracelet she had made, and I knew right away I had to add it to my product line! The bracelet holds 4 photos, and the beads are available in a multitude of colors. Add one on to your session for only $40!

Guest Book Album

Looking for a creative solution for your guest book? Look no further! I know when I was getting married (many, many moons...well okay, two years ago), it was important to me that our guest book be something we cherished and would look at again, not just a boring list of names in a book. I wish I would have known about these guests books!

Here is a peek at Derek & Lena's Guest Book for their upcoming wedding on October 24th. This 8x8 album with 20 pages, and a personalized photo cover is only $125! If you are interested in ordering one, please let me know and I'll get the ordering process started. It is super easy!

My favorite thing about this album is that it gives your guest prompts to write you a note. Reading over guest books, or even photo mats, it always seems like everyone says about the same thing... well not in your guest book! Here are few examples of the prompted pages, as well as a few blank ones for custom messages.






Another thing I absolutely love about these albums - sorry paper products get me really excited! The pages lay flat for a crisp clean look, and make the book easy to sign.

Fall

Well I guess it's safe to say fall is here! I have to admit I'm a little surprised at how fast it has sprung upon us! I the past week, I've had to cancel 4 of my 6 photo shoots due to the crummy and rainy weather. Although I'd love to get out and shoot, no one is going to look good with 25 mph winds and rain! And I don't think my nice camera equipment would like it either!

My two sessions this weekend were troopers! On the way to church on Sunday it was 37 degrees outside. Eke! Thank God for long underwear and warm sweaters! You guys did awesome, and us good Wisconsin-ites know how to dress warm and still look cute!

On another note, I have officially filled all of my portrait sessions for 2009 - and I am amazed! I have had such a blast this year getting to meet all of you, and can not wait to see what another season of shooting holds.

Before and After

There is always a moment after every photo shoot where I let clients know that their photos will be ready to see in two weeks. I remember hearing that when I was a bride and thought - two weeks? It will take two weeks to get the photos off of your camera?! And I see that same question on the faces of my confused clients.

After each photo shoot, I upload the photos to my computer, but that is the easy part! I spend approximately 3-5 hours on each photo session editing each photo to perfection, uploading them to your online gallery, and creating your DVD and personalized case. I thought I'd show you a few of my "before and after" shots, so you can see what I'm up to while you're waiting for you photos!

Here is a straight out of the camera shot from my session with one year old cutie Aiden. This is the image that appeared when I uploaded the photo off of my camera.

You'll notice that like most busy one year olds he has a little scratch on his nose. Eh, this is no feat for photoshop! Scratches, scrapes, and skin imperfections are nothing to worry about for your photo shoot : )

Here is the after, with a little color correction, a few photoshop actions, and sharpening... awe, how cute!
