Handschke Family

From the moment I saw this family dressed in these fabulously bright and fun colors, I knew it was going to be a great session! The Handschke Family was referred to me by my dear friend and client Sarah Kooiman (check out her blog!). We held our session at the Memorial Union Terrace downtown Madison in the beautiful setting sun. Check out a few of my favorites!

It took a little running around and a magical Dora microphone but we got little sister to smile!

Mom brought along lots of cute outfits, including these little shirts!

Kaebisch Family

I met the Kaebisch Family on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Oschner Park in Baraboo. This is the second time I've had the opportunity to photograph this family, and it is always a pleasure to see clients again. I couldn't believe how much their little boy had grown since the last time I saw him!

We started our session down by the River Walk, and this beautiful old bridge.

We then spent a little time playing at the park. This is my favorite time of a family session - capturing everyone having fun with one another. I think these photos will be even more precious in a few years...

Connor is One!

Meeting Connor and his family has been so much fun! They have purchased the "Watch Me Grow" package which includes 4 sessions - this is our third. I have photographed this little guy from newborn, to 6 month old, to big one year old! It has been so neat to watch him grow over the past few months, and I can't wait to see what he's up to at our next session, where he'll probably be cruising around and walking!

I met Connor and his family at Vilas Park near the zoo for our session. There was lots of fun places to go and see.

He had a great time going down the slide - but crawling up is much more fun!

Mom and Dad also brought along his wagon which he just got for his first birthday!

The Murphy Family!

I met the Murphy family on a cloudy and windy, but nice spring day. We managed to escape the winds in the trees of the UW Arboretum for a few photos with mom and dad and their three beautiful girls. They were so much fun and easy going that they made my job easy!

Mom had actually won this session at a silent auction almost a year and a half ago now, and we finally matched our schedules up - and I'm so glad I finally got to meet everyone! Check out some of my favorites below!

Eli is 6 Months Old!

Gosh how time flies! It seems like just a few weeks ago I was taking Eli's newborn photos, and now he's getting all big and old on me! He is now a handsome 6 month old doing all sorts of things and everything around him is a new and interesting experience. He is so much fun!

And good golly is he cute. Just look at those red locks of hair. And we learned that if you put a naked baby in a basket under a tree you will pretty much fall over with the amount of adorableness it exudes. But you will just have to read on to see the pictures!




Eli is definitely one loved baby :) It is so fun to see your friends become parents!
