Connor

I met Connor and his mom and dad at the State Capitol last Saturday afternoon. The last time I saw this little family, Connor was just a newborn, and now he was a big 6 month old! Time flies by so quickly! Luckily, our session was in the middle of a home Badger football game, so the state capitol was pretty much ours!

We had a hard time getting a little smile out of this guy, but it doesn't matter, he looks adorable just sitting there! Here are a few favorites from our session, and I can't wait to see him again at his one year old session!

Since it was such a nice day out, we decided to go outside and try playing in the leaves. No smiles, but that little hat is sure adorable!

Madison Baby Photographer - Welcome Eli!

When I first started photography, I was looking to take photos of anyone, anywhere - I just wanted to gain experience. Well, my friends Adam and Sabrina were really bummed that they didn't have any reason to have their photos taken, and sweetly offered that I could take photos of the cat if I wanted. It ended up not working out, and sadly Zed did not get his day in the spotlight. So, I was so excited that they finally had a reason for me to take photos of them! Baby Eli!

Eli

We went and visited Eli and took his cute little photos last weekend. It was my gift to them at their shower. Which, if you have a friend or family member that is expecting, let me know and I'd love to through a gift package together for them! It makes such a unique gift for the parents to be. I'm working on Eli's birth announcements and brag book album, so stay tuned!

Here are a few more of my favorites!

Eli

This one was right before a pooey diaper change... I think he was feeling goooo-ood! Haha!

Ok, here we go, all freshened up!

Kayley

This past Sunday on our way to church, we drove past the bank sign with a chilly reading of 37 degrees. I never would have guessed that my beginning of October shoots would be so cold! I immediately thought of little Kayley, and didn't want her to freeze during our shoot. A quick call to mom revealed she had a cute sweater and coat all ready for the occasion. You gotta love us Wisconsinites, it can be cold, and we still know how to look cute!

Although this little cutie didn't need any help enhancing her cuteness. In fact, I feel like I need to post a warning that this little girl might spontaneously evoke "ooos" and "ahhs" and "oh how cute!"'s that you didn't even know you had!

I met Kayley and her mom and dad at the Epelgarden in Fitchburg, and we had a great time walking around and finding lots of cool fall spots. And hey, it didn't even feel THAT cold! Here are some of my favorites from the session. I always have the hardest time picking, especially with such an adorable subject - so if you'd like to see more pop on over to my facebook page.

Oh you know, just a little pumpkin in with the pumpkins!
Kayley

Sometimes I wish my camera was able to capture sound, her little giggle in these photos is contagious!

You can't tell from this photo, but she is standing on a giant pumpkin.
Kayley

See... I warned you! She's super cute!

In case you missed her cuteness here is another chance

We'll end with this one... Kayley was so cute trying to take a bite out of this apple!

Thanks guys for a great afternoon. Kayley did awesome, and I hope you enjoy your photos!

Jaxon!

This little cutie was a blast! You may remember him from my Madison Mallards post a few weeks back, and I have been so excited to take his photos ever since. I met Jaxon and his mommy at one of my favorite locations, which just happens to be where Rochelle (mommy) and my husband work. Here are some of my favorites from the session!

One of Jaxon's favorite things is to play in the sand, so we started at the beach!

This one cracks me up! It's the "I'm gonna get you!" face....

And I just can't resist a cute little tush and itty bitty toes!

And now a new feature to all of my little people people sessions... "Trash the onesize".... I think it will compete nicely with the "Trash the Dress" sessions after the weddings : ) But come to think of it just about every day is a "Trash the Oneszie" day for a little tyke!

Thanks guys for a great night, I had a ton of fun playing with you!

The Mortvedt Family

I met the Mortvedt Family on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I was ecstatic when Cheryl picked the location of a local Christmas tree farm. Not only is it a beautiful spot where they get their Christmas Tree each year, but it is her older son's favorite place to visit. How cool to have a location that means something to the family! It makes the photos all the more unquie.

I know the Mortvedts through a mutal friend, so it was great to finally meet them in person. Their little boys were adorable, and were so fun to work with! As you will see from the photos they are a family who loves to hang out and enjoy each other. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot!

Friends and family, to sign the guest book and view the photos online click here.

There are some photos that surprise me as I'm editing, ones I didn't even know I caught. This one stopped me dead in my mouse click, the brother-brother bond is so apparent! How precious!

Thanks Mortvedts for a great afternoon, I really enjoyed getting to know you and your family! I hope you recovered from your crazy weekend and move soon!
