Photo Friday! 365 Photo Project

3.23.10

Between the laundry, unpacking, vacation photo uploading, and catching up over this past week, I have been terrible at my take a photo a day project! In fact, this is the only photo I've taken since Sunday! We grilled out on Tuesday night when the highs were in the mid 60's, and Edie was out in the yard soaking up some sun.

So, I start new today and promise to get back on track next week!

Since I've got you here, I also wanted to remind everyone that my sessions are filling up quickly! Right now I have one spot left in May, and then am booking into June! Here are my available spots as of today:

Tuesday, May 11th - 6pm
Tuesday, June 22nd - 6pm
Sunday, June 27th - 9am
Thursday, July 15th - 6pm
Sunday, August 8th - 4pm (Waupaca, WI Area Only)
Tuesday, August 24th - 6pm
Sunday, August 29th - 4pm (Sheboygan, WI Area Only)
Thursday, September 9th - 6pm
Tuesday, September 14th - 6pm

I am planning a special Christmas Card Photo Extravaganza Event in October, so stay tuned :)

Have a good weekend everyone!

Connor

I met Connor and his mom and dad at the State Capitol last Saturday afternoon. The last time I saw this little family, Connor was just a newborn, and now he was a big 6 month old! Time flies by so quickly! Luckily, our session was in the middle of a home Badger football game, so the state capitol was pretty much ours!

We had a hard time getting a little smile out of this guy, but it doesn't matter, he looks adorable just sitting there! Here are a few favorites from our session, and I can't wait to see him again at his one year old session!

Since it was such a nice day out, we decided to go outside and try playing in the leaves. No smiles, but that little hat is sure adorable!

Kayley

This past Sunday on our way to church, we drove past the bank sign with a chilly reading of 37 degrees. I never would have guessed that my beginning of October shoots would be so cold! I immediately thought of little Kayley, and didn't want her to freeze during our shoot. A quick call to mom revealed she had a cute sweater and coat all ready for the occasion. You gotta love us Wisconsinites, it can be cold, and we still know how to look cute!

Although this little cutie didn't need any help enhancing her cuteness. In fact, I feel like I need to post a warning that this little girl might spontaneously evoke "ooos" and "ahhs" and "oh how cute!"'s that you didn't even know you had!

I met Kayley and her mom and dad at the Epelgarden in Fitchburg, and we had a great time walking around and finding lots of cool fall spots. And hey, it didn't even feel THAT cold! Here are some of my favorites from the session. I always have the hardest time picking, especially with such an adorable subject - so if you'd like to see more pop on over to my facebook page.

Oh you know, just a little pumpkin in with the pumpkins!

Sometimes I wish my camera was able to capture sound, her little giggle in these photos is contagious!

You can't tell from this photo, but she is standing on a giant pumpkin.

See... I warned you! She's super cute!

In case you missed her cuteness here is another chance

We'll end with this one... Kayley was so cute trying to take a bite out of this apple!

Aiden Turns One!

2

I met this little cutie and his parents at Vilas Park in Madison. They were so much fun! Aiden is lucky to have awesome parents, it is apparent their little family is not short on love! I love it when parents interact with their children like I'm not even there - it makes for great, natural photos.

I think Aiden's parents tried every trick in the book to get a big smile out of him, but he successfully held out on us! Luckily he's just plain adorable even without a big smile!

Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Now I think this little guy is secretly in cahoots with my mother and her "grandchildren" campaign... don't you just want to pinch his little cheeks?!

Jaxon!

This little cutie was a blast! You may remember him from my Madison Mallards post a few weeks back, and I have been so excited to take his photos ever since. I met Jaxon and his mommy at one of my favorite locations, which just happens to be where Rochelle (mommy) and my husband work. Here are some of my favorites from the session!

One of Jaxon's favorite things is to play in the sand, so we started at the beach!

This one cracks me up! It's the "I'm gonna get you!" face....

And I just can't resist a cute little tush and itty bitty toes!

And now a new feature to all of my little people people sessions... "Trash the onesize".... I think it will compete nicely with the "Trash the Dress" sessions after the weddings : ) But come to think of it just about every day is a "Trash the Oneszie" day for a little tyke!

Thanks guys for a great night, I had a ton of fun playing with you!

The Gang's All Here!

I was invited to photograph this awesome family in honor of their parent's 45th Wedding Anniversary, and what a treat it was! We met up at the Botham Vineyards, which was an absolutely beautiful! I think I've told everyone I've talked to in the past week or so to go there! It is one of those hidden gems of the Madison area. Plus, we all got to go taste wine after the photo shoot, which isn't a bad gig in itself! Thanks to everyone for a great afternoon, and I hope you enjoy your photos!

Here are a select few of my favorites!

This is probably one of my favorites of all time! I just love how in love they still are after all these years!

What a family of beautiful women!
